The VID Tag which attaches to the dog
collar, looks similar to a registration
tag. Your VID Tag has a number on it
which is linked to a database with relevant
details so you can be contacted if your
dog is found. Your details will never
be given out. You will be contacted
and given the information on where and
how to retrieve your dog. If your dog
does not have a VID Tag, chances are
it may still be found, but it will be
transported to the local pound, with
retrieval costs of over one hundred
dollars. That is presuming you dog is
registered and can be identified. If
it is not, your dog may be resold or
even put down. The VID Tag payment is
$10 once off, which includes postage
to anywhere in Australia (lost tags
will need to be re-purchased). This
covers your dog for life. There are
no annual charges or fees. Unlimited
use, it doesn't matter how many times
your dog is lost & found, we will
still contact you.
